Kim and his family moved to California from South Korea in 2000 and he now flies the flag for the United States. In 2004, he joined Tiger Woods as a 15-year-old winner of the U.S. Junior Championship. Kim turned pro in 2011 and made his debut on the Asian Tour in 2017, quickly establishing himself as a top player. His first two pro victories came on that Tour and he’s recorded three other top-10 finishes. Kim recorded his maiden Asian Tour title by winning the International Series Thailand in 2022.
