LIV Golf's Anti-Doping Program

LIV Golf steadfastly upholds its commitment to safeguarding the fairness and integrity of competition and ensuring the health and safety of all players. Adherence to the LIV Golf Anti-Doping regulations is a crucial step in protecting golf's reputation as a clean and safe sport.

The LIV Golf League expects all of its golfers to abide by the LIV Golf Anti-Doping Program rules. We are dedicated to protecting the reputation of the League, as well as the reputation of the players who abide by the rules, and celebrating their rightful achievements in the game.

Any anti-doping violation – whether deliberate or not – may have multiple consequences, including:

  • Disqualification of results: Previous results in tournaments can be disqualified.

  • Significant bans: The ban for a first offense can be up to three tournaments, with longer suspensions for repeat offenses.

  • Loss of prize money: Players found guilty of an offense must repay the prize money from all competitions for which their results were disqualified. This can include team winnings.

  • Public disclosure: News of the ban will be published.

  • Damage to health: Doping can damage long-term physical health, as well as psychological and mental wellbeing.
