4ACES Orlando

GRANGE, Australia – A quick look at each of the 12 LIV Golf League teams going into the first round of LIV Golf Adelaide at The Grange Golf Club.

Teams listed in order of the current point standings.

4ACES GC

Current individual points standings: Peter Uihlein (2), Patrick Reed (12), Dustin Johnson (13), Pat Perez (16)

Only team with podium finishes in each of the first three tournaments (2/Mayakoba, 2/Tucson, 3/Orlando)

Only team with all four players ranked inside the top 20 in individual points

Uihlein one of just two League players with top 10 points finishes in all three tournaments (2, 8, 10)

Has lowest team scoring average in the league at 69.3 strokes per round


TORQUE GC

Current individual points standings: Sebastián Muñoz (4), Mito Pereira (10), Joaquin Niemann (26), David Puig (38)

Won their first team title in Orlando in their third start since offseason lineup changes

Newcomers Muñoz (2nd in Orlando) and Pereira each have two top 10 points finishes this season

Muñoz’s opening 62 in Orlando is lowest score of the season and ties the all-time LIV record

Top team this season in par-4 scoring (5 under)


FIREBALLS GC

Current individual points standings: Carlos Ortiz (3), Sergio Garcia (22), Abraham Ancer (34), Eugenio Chacarra (40)

Followed their team victory in Tucson with a 7th in Orlando for their third consecutive points finish

Ortiz one of just two League players with top 10 points finishes in all three tournaments (2, 9, 9)

Ancer leads the League in fairways hit at 76%

Top team this season in scrambling (67%)

STINGER GC

Current individual points standings: Branden Grace (9), Dean Burmester (11), Louis Oosthuizen (15), Charl Schwartzel (39)

Have finished fourth in the team standings in each of the first three tournaments

Only team with three different players with a top 5 points finish

Newcomer Burmester has yet to record a three-putt and has the longest current active streak at 162 holes

Top team this season in sand saves (60%)


CRUSHERS GC

Current individual points standings: Charles Howell III (1), Paul Casey (14), Bryson DeChambeau (33), Anirban Lahiri (44)

Lahiri expected to return to the lineup after missing Orlando event (personal reasons)

Followed season-opening team win in Mayakoba with two non-points finishes (9 in Tucson, 10 in Orlando)

Mayakoba individual winner Howell leads League in scoring average (67.8)

Top team this season in driving distance average (312.3-yard average)

SMASH GC

Current individual points standings: Brooks Koepka (5), Matthew Wolff (8), Jason Kokrak (24), Chase Koepka (47)

Brooks Koepka became the first two-time winner in LIV Golf with his individual title in Orlando

Second-place finish behind Torque in the team standings produced the first points of the season

Wolff has finished inside the top 12 in all three tournaments

Brooks Koepka’s T2 at Masters is his best fourth runner-up finish in a major (along with four wins)

IRON HEADS GC

Current individual points standings: Danny Lee (6), Kevin Na (17), Scott Vincent (28), Sihwan Kim (49)

Lee followed up his individual win in Tucson with a 35th in Orlando

Third-place finish in Tucson remains the team’s only points-producing result

Na leads the League in putting with a 1.50 average

Lee, Na and Vincent have provided all the counting scores through the first three tournaments


RIPPER GC

Current individual points standings: Cameron Smith (18), Matt Jones (19), Marc Leishman (31), Jediah Morgan (43)

All-Australian team will look to produce its first team title in front of home fans in Adelaide

Smith’s most recent pro win was the Australian PGA Championship in November in Queensland

Jones ranks third in the League in birdies made this season with 43

Team opened with consecutive fifth-place finishes and comes off a 12th in Orlando


CLEEKS GC

Current individual points standings: Graeme McDowell (29), Richard Bland (30), Laurie Canter (32), Bernd Wiesberger (45)

Captain Martin Kaymer (wrist issues) is expected to return to the lineup after missing the first three tournaments

Reserve player Canter was tied for third after two rounds in Orlando before finishing 15th

Bland is 18 under on the par 5s, tying for second-best in the League in that category

Team leads the League in fairways hit with 66%

HYFLYERS GC

Current individual points standings: Brendan Steele (7), Cameron Tringale (23), Phil Mickelson (42), James Piot (46)

Team finished with points in the first two events before finishing outside the top 8 in Orlando

Mickelson comes off a 7-under 65 at the Masters, his lowest final round in that major

Steele finished 5th and 3rd in his first two LIV starts and is the only HyFlyer to post a top 10 individual result

Team is 57 under on the par 5s this season, tying for second-best in that category


MAJESTICKS GC

Current individual points standings: Sam Horsfield (20), Henrik Stenson (25), Ian Poulter (27), Lee Westwood (37)

Team unveiled its new charity initiative, Little Sticks, with a pre-tournament clinic in Orlando

Sixth-place finish in Orlando was team’s first points-producing result this season

Stenson leads the league in driving accuracy, hitting 78% of his fairways

Poulter hasn’t dropped a stroke in his last 52 par-5 holes played, the League’s longest active streak


RANGEGOATS GC

Current individual points standings: Talor Gooch (21), Thomas Pieters (35), Harold Varner III (36), Bubba Watson (41)

One of just five teams to finish in the points in each of the first three tournaments (all 8th place results)

Team unveiled its Goat Chain in Orlando that goes to the team member with the best score each day

Varner’s LIV-record streak of 19 consecutive counting scores ended in Orlando

Watson ranks fourth in the League in driving distance average (316.6 yards)
