CARROLLTON, Texas – For the third consecutive year, the LIV Golf Team Championship will use a match-play format for the first two rounds this week in Dallas. Here are 15 facts you should know about the league’s match-play history:

  • The players with the most wins without a defeat are Cameron Tringale and Peter Uihlein, who are each 3-0

  • Just two players have competed in all four match-play rounds – Graeme McDowell (3-1) and Richard Bland (2-2)

  • McDowell is the only player to compete in foursomes in every round; Bland has played two singles matches

  • Harold Varner III is the only non-captain to beat a captain, defeating Brooks Koepka in the 2022 quarterfinals (Bubba Watson was a non-playing captain that year)

  • Six players have won both a singles match and a foursomes match

  • Patrick Reed’s Ryder Cup record in singles is 3-0 but he’s 0-2 in the Team Championship

  • Reed's 4Aces teammates Dustin Johnson, Pat Perez and Harold Varner III are a collective 6-0 in their matches

  • Crushers GC are the defending Team Champions, but the team’s foursomes duo of Charles Howell III and Anirban Lahiri are 0-2

  • Four of the 48 matches in the first two years have gone to extra holes

  • The 2022 singles match between Stinger GC Captain Louis Oosthuizen and Crushers GC Captain Bryson DeChambeau is the longest in Team Championship history, with Oosthuizen winning in 23 holes

  • The shortest match in Team Championship history is Torque GC’s Sebastian Munoz’s 7 & 6 win over Stinger’s Branden Grace in the 2023 semifinals

  • The two teams that have swept their opponents in the quarterfinals were then subsequently swept in the ensuing semifinals – Majesticks in 2022, Stinger in 2023

  • No teams have faced each other more than once in the first two years

  • Phil Mickelson is the only player to compete in three matches without a win; he has lost to Cameron Smith, Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson in singles

  • Nine players will make their LIV Golf match play debuts in Dallas – the Legion XIII lineup of Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Caleb Surratt and Kieran Vincent; Cleeks GC’s Adrian Meronk and Kalle Samooja; Ripper GC’s Lucas Herbert; HyFlyers GC’s Andy Ogletree; and Iron Heads GC’s Jinichiro Kozuma
