  • Brooks Koepka will make his first start after winning the 2023 PGA Championship. It was the Smash GC captain's fifth major victory in his career and third PGA Championship title

  • LIV Golf DC is the seventh event of the 2023 season as the League reaches the halfway point of the 14-tournament schedule

  • 4Aces GC Captain Dustin Johnson defeated Ripper GC Captain Cameron Smith and Stinger GC’s Branden Grace with a birdie on the first playoff hole to win the individual title in Tulsa

  • Johnson, last year’s Individual Champion, became the third golfer to win multiple LIV Golf events, joining Brooks Koepka and Talor Gooch with two each

  • Grace and the all-South African Stinger GC, captained by Louis Oosthuizen, claimed the team title by one shot over the 4Aces. It was Stinger’s first win of the season and second overall after winning the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series event in London in 2022

  • Along with Koepka, the other 15 LIV Golf League members who played in last week’s PGA Championship will be in the 48-man field. That includes Crushers GC Captain Bryson DeChambeau, who finished T4, and Ripper GC Captain Cameron Smith, who finished T9

ABOUT THE COURSE

TRUMP NATIONAL GOLF CLUB WASHINGTON, D.C.

Potomac Falls, Virginia, USA
Par: 72
Yardage: 7,479

The links-style Championship Course, the venue for LIV Golf DC, was built specifically for world-class tournament golf

Utilizing holes on two existing courses created by famed architects Tom Fazio and Arthur Hills, the layout was rerouted and remodeled by Fazio’s nephew Tommy Fazio to better utilize frontage along the Potomac River

The Loudoun County layout in Northern Virginia is the only course in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia with vast Potomac River frontage

Upon its debut in 2016, it was ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top three New Golf Courses

The Championship Course was the site for the Senior PGA Championship in 2017

The par-3 210-yard 15th is the course’s signature hole and has a new tee box

The par-4 310-yard ninth will be a potentially drivable hole
