CONFIRMED: DJ, RAHM, MICKELSON CHOSEN FOR ‘MASTERS SHOWDOWN’ AT LIV GOLF MIAMI
Dustin Johnson, Jon Rahm and Phil Mickelson will make golfing history on the Blue Monster today, in a special Masters grouping chosen entirely by you, the fans.
We asked members of our loyalty program, LIV X, to tell us which three of our seven Masters champions should tee off together at LIV Golf Miami. Nearly 6,000 fans took part in the vote, and the result is a mouth-watering match-up.
Rahm, the captain of Legion VIII and current Masters champion, received over 80% of the votes, while Johnson, who set a new Augusta record in 2020, came second with 75%. Mickelson, who has three Masters titles to his name, claimed 52% of the poll.
The three will tee off together on the 2nd hole today, and will play the full round in tandem. Rahm and Mickelson both finished on the podium at last year’s Masters, and both will be raring for battle all over again on one of the world’s great courses.
