ENGBorn in England, Canter was an accomplished amateur, winning the South African Amateur Championship in 2010. He was also part of the England team that won the European Amateur Team Championship that year. He turned pro in 2011 after winning the Spanish Amateur Open Championship. Canter joined LIV Golf in 2022 after more than a decade as a successful pro.
