SMASH GC TEAM STREAM SET FOR LIV GOLF CHICAGO
SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Fans of five-time major winner Brooks Koepka and his Smash GC will have the unique opportunity to watch the team on a dedicated stream during this week’s LIV Golf Chicago.
The Smash-only stream will be available on the LIV Golf Plus app for all three rounds at Rich Harvest Farms, with Koepka looking to move up in the individual points standings while also making his last start before competing for the United States in next week’s Ryder Cup in Rome.
There will be one hand-held camera dedicated to Koepka, while other cameras around the course will capture live shots of teammates Jason Kokrak, Matthew Wolff and Chase Koepka. The goal is to show 100% of the shots by Smash players.
The team-only stream is the third of its kind this season, with previous team-only streams produced at Adelaide for the all-Australian Ripper GC, and at Tulsa for RangeGoats GC, which includes Oklahoma native and three-time LIV Golf champion Talor Gooch.
Unlike the previous team streams, the main difference with the Smash stream will be evident in the broadcast booth, as comedian/actor Adam Pally will be the point person in front of the camera. Pally has starred in Happy Endings, The Mindy Project and most recently, Sonic the Hedgehog.
Pally will play host to a series of guests during the three days of tournament coverage, including family members of the Smash players, Smash GC staff and player coaches, other LIV Golf personalities, as well as various celebrities and entertainers. It will be a second-screen, ManningCast-type viewing experience.
The Smash stream will be live starting at 1 p.m. EDT on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
