LIV Golf UK by JCB will take place July 26-28 at JCB Golf & Country Club, near Uttoxeter, a modern masterpiece with rolling fields, island greens and even a ruined stately home.
Fans can cheer Poulter, Westwood and Horsfield on their home turf, while the players will love the endless challenges created by Robin Hiseman, particularly the fiercely guarded 18th. And it’s all happening in the gorgeous British countryside, the perfect summer adventure for thousands of golf fans.
This modern masterpiece is major by design. Sculpted from the glorious English countryside, the brand-new JCB is illuminated by island greens, rolling meadows and a rambling stately home, where aristocrats once ruled over all they surveyed.
Now the course lays down its first big challenge, and it’s a fearsome one. Every hole has been laden with booby traps by designer Robin Hiseman, but the long, snaking 18th, as heavily guarded as a Medieval citadel, will prove particularly formidable. If you like your golf full of strategy and scrambles, you’ll love this.
