Bubba Watson (USA, captain)

Bubba Watson would be the first to admit his golf game has not hit the heights in recent seasons, particularly since his injury and the demands on his time and focus as a team captain in LIV Golf.

But he retains the wide-eyed, boyish enthusiasm that won him the affection of golf fans around the world. They remember the emotion that flowed from the big Floridian when he won the Masters in 2012 – and repeated the feat in 2014.

A dedicated family man who clearly relishes the commercial challenge of growing LIV Golf, Watson nevertheless remains a formidable on-course presence on his day.

Peter Uihlein (USA)

Uihlein had been a pro golfer for nearly 10 years when the chance to join LIV Golf came along, and he grabbed it with both hands.

RangeGoats GC is the third team he has represented, following a year with Smash GC and another at 4Aces GC. In those years he finished third and 11th respectively in the overall standings to demonstrate his undoubted talent.

His first year with RangeGoats GC saw him tie for second in Las Vegas, his fourth LIV Golf podium, while he also won the International Series England on the Asian Tour.

Matt Wolff (USA)

Wolff is another player who represented different teams in his first two years with LIV Golf, spending time with HyFlyers GC and Smash GC. He has clearly found a home with RangeGoats alongside Watson and his long-time pal Uihlein.

Watson said: “I’ve always wanted Wolff. He is such a great talent and a great kid… now I’ve got the pieces that I wanted to make this all work.”

Wolff showed his quality in 2024 with an overall 18 th place in the individual standings, which included a visit to the podium after finishing third in Miami.

Ben Campbell (NZL)

There was always a chance that Campbell would become the second Kiwi – after Danny Lee – in the LIV Golf ranks. He was the top-ranked non-LIV Golf player in the season-long standings on the 2024 International Series.

His third-place finish was earned thanks to a win at the International Series Morocco, runners-up spot in the Hong Kong Open, and four other top-10 results.

As a LIV Golf reserve, he also turned out once for Majesticks GC in 2024. That put him on the RangeGoats GC radar, and Campbell said of skipper Watson: “We’ve had a few dinners and things like that. He seems pretty easy to get along with.”
