Captain Watson and RangeGoats GC in town ahead of LIV Golf Miami
MIAMI - Anticipation is building for LIV Golf Miami and South Florida's Major League Baseball team wanted in on the action early.
RangeGoats GC captain Bubba Watson was invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Monday at Loan Depot Park before the Miami Marlins hosted the New York Mets.
Watson, who is no stranger to baseball as part-owner of the minor league Pensacola Blue Wahoos, managed to get his pitch over home plate without bouncing it – a feat that should keep the heckling from his teammates, who were watching from the stands, to a minimum.
