Branden Grace and Stinger GC ready to take on LIV Golf Hong Kong

The LIV Golf League rolls into Hong Kong, and with only two events down in the 2025 season, the race for the individual and team titles is wide open. Every LIV player still has a shot at topping the leaderboard, and Stinger GC’s Branden Grace is coming in hot after a confidence-boosting performance at the South African Open.

Grace Gearing Up After SA Open Success

Reflecting on his recent form, Grace is feeling good heading into Hong Kong:

“The SA Open was a great week for me. I played really well, and the confidence I took from it was huge. It was amazing to be back playing in front of our home fans, especially in Durban, where I have so many great memories. Obviously, I would have loved to get that British Open spot, but another top-five finish proves my game is in a good place. I’m ready to bring that momentum into Hong Kong and make something happen.”

What to Expect at Hong Kong Golf Club

This isn’t your average tournament stop—Hong Kong Golf Club is one of Asia’s best courses, with a history dating back to 1889, when it was originally known as Happy Valley. The club’s Old Course at Fanling came along in 1911, followed by the New Course (1931) and Eden Course (1970). For LIV Golf, they’re mixing it up with a composite course that measured just 6,710 yards last year. Tight holes, brutal waste areas, and a setup that rewards accuracy over raw power—expect fireworks.

A Look Back: LIV Golf Hong Kong 2024

Last season, Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC pulled off a final-round comeback to take the team title, while Abraham Ancer edged out Paul Casey and Cameron Smith in a dramatic three-way playoff to win at 13-under. Can Stinger GC make their move this time around?

What’s Next?

The action tees off from 7-9 March, and with everything still up for grabs, expect bold moves, fearless golf, and some serious leaderboard shake-ups. Game on!
